Shilpa Bala Pictures/ Shilpa Bala Indian Desi girl

Shilpa Bala is a Malayalam actress hailing from Kanjangad of Kasargode district. Born to Induleka and Balagopal, a Bank employee, Shilpa was raised in Dubai and she did her schooling in the Indian High School, Dubai. Her mother is a trained classical dancer who works at a private firm in Dubai. She has a sister by the name Shweta.

Shilpa has learned classical dance and has participated in various dance programs in school level and at outside functions. She started learning dance at the age of four and is a student of Master Sasi Kottakkal. She won the "Kalathilakam Pattam" at the Arabia Youth Festival in the year 2005. Shilpa has received lot of appreciations and awards for her amazing dancing performances. She has also learned classical music and is a good singer too. Shilpa's talents are not only limited to classical dance and music, she had performed various other art forms like mono act, light music, public speaking etc.
