Indian Celebs who copied Hollywood Celebs

Deepika Padukone did complete justice to the 'golden girl' tag that was conferred upon her for 5 back to back hits in 2013. However, her sheer golden gown was worn earlier that month by British socialite Lady Victoria Harvey at the Golden Globe awards. Of course Dippy chose a modest version of the gown designed by Gaurav Gupta.

Priyanka Chopra stunned in her Alexander McQueen gown at the Filmfare awards this year. However, British actress Naomie Harris wore the same black strapless gown with beaded peplum to the royal premiere of Mandela: Long Walk to Freedom last month. We think both the divas looked exquisite!

Sonakshi Sinha took everyone by surprise when she walked down the red carpet in a silver and nude Amit GT gown. As gorgeous as she looked, we couldn't help but notice that her outfit seems to have been inspired from British presenter & model Cat Deeley's outfit from the 2013 Costume Designers Guild Awards. The Brit babe wore a nude Monique Lhuillier dress with delicate silver embroidery which looks almost the same as Sonakshi's. We think the outfit looked better on Sona, as it flattered her curves!

Deepika Padukone's Alexander McQueen outfit at the screen awards this year seems to be a rather popular choice in the west! Not only did Kate Hudson wear it to the Golden Globes last year, but the same gown was also worn by Lisa Vanderpump at the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills premiere party. Apart from them, Kris Jenner and Alexia Echevarria also wore this outfit at various events. Looks like this 7000$ gown is definitely a steal!

Aditi Rao Hydari's strapless blue Marchesa gown was earlier worn by Hollywood actress Olivia Munn way back in 2011, At The Comedy Awards. Although Aditi kept it simple with just a pair of earrings and a simple hairdo, we think she could have taken a cue from Olivia and accessorized a little more.

Shraddha Kapoor looked every bit the glamorous diva in her shimmery Donna Karan Atelier gown. However, actress Emmy Rossum wore the same gown last year at the Met gala. Shraddha not only did the same pose but also went for a similar updo!

Soha Ali Khan wore a strapless Ken Ferns gown at the Filmfare awards this year. But didn't her gown look inspired from Twilight babe Kristen Stewart's Zuhair Murad gown? The gold corseted top and crisscross design, although not an exact copy, seemed to be a tad similar. Unlike the Twilight star, Soha chose to opt for a subtler version.

It's not always Bollywood that copies from the west! This year we saw Beyonce in a sheer dress with White detailing at the Grammy's. Last year Kajol was spotted wearing a very similar Pankaj and Nidhi dress in yellow for the HT Leadership Summit. While Kajol chose to wear a slip under her dress, Beyonce flaunted her ample curves in the sheer outfit.

Aditi Rao Hydari not only adopted Audrey Hepburn's hairdo, but her navy Harsh Harsh column gown looked very similar to Jennifer Lawrence's Christian Dior gown at the Screen Actors Guild Awards. Though Jennifer's gown is slightly different, the colour and the cut of the gown above the waist is exactly similar.

Okay we do know that Chitrangda's gown and Oscar winner Natalie Portman's outfit look different, but you have to agree that waist down the cut of the gown is quite similar. The fact that they both are white gowns with a black belt around the waist, Chitrangda's gown looks somewhat similar.
