DAWOOD TEXTILE PVT LTD was started by HAJI MUHAMMAD DAWOOD, a textile merchant of Faisalabad, in 1950’s by setting up a small shop to sell textile fabrics.
The continuous hard work and customer satisfaction led to acquiring a textile mill by the name of Poonam textile mill in 1958 as a small table print on Maqbool Road, Faisalabad. But the growth did not stop there, with the passage of time and arrival of younger generation a state of printing unit was set up in 1984 on its present location at Sargodha Road by the name of DAWOOD TEXTILE PRINTING INDUSTRIES PVT LTD. The mill produces fashion fabrics for ladies and home textiles.
In the year 1978, Dawood textiles expanded its business and ventured into new horizons by entering international market and setting up a separate firm Dawood Exports Pvt Ltd to handle international market. The group further expanded by adding another state of the art processing unit for home textiles by the name of DAWOOD EXPORTS PVT LTD.
