Biography
Shraddha Kapoor was born on March 3, 1989 to the famous Hindi film actor Shakti Kapoor and Shivangi Kapoor. She did a part of her schooling from Jamnabai Narsee School, Juhu and completed her high school from Boston. She took up theatre studies during her college in Boston and continued with her graduation from India only. Later, she learnt direction and acting skills under the guidance of Mohit Tugnait.
In Baaghi
Shraddha Kapoor will be seen in Sabbir Khan's upcoming directorial movie 'Baaghi'. The film has came out with a tag line "A Rebel For Love". It stars Tiger Shroff as main lead and will be seen romancing Shraddha. The movie is scheduled to release on April 29, 2016.
In Rock On 2
Shraddha Kapoor will next be seen in Excel Entertainment's Rock On 2 opposite Farhan Akhtar and Arjun Rampal. The film will be produced by Ritesh Sidhwani and Farhan Akhtar. Shraddha has decided to learn the piano for real instead of playacting.
Family
Shraddha kapoor was born into a filmy family. Her father Shakti Kapoor is popular for negative roles in Bollywood and her maternal aunt Tejaswini Kolhapure and Padmini Kolhapure - sister of Shivangi Kapoor, are also famous Bollywood actresses. She got inspired from her aunt Tejaswini to enter Bollywood, rather than her father.
Shraddha's elder brother Siddhanth Kapoor is a former Disc Jockey (DJ), actor and an assistant director. Her brother made his Bollywood debut with "Shootout at Wadala" in 2013 and also was the assistant director for the same film. She was never shy about her father's villainous image but proud of her upbringing done by her parents. Her father proved to be the strength in her career's struggling days.
Boyfriend/Dating
As per the reports, Shraddha Kapoor is allegedly dating a prominent industrialist's son from South Mumbai. She shares a close bond with the guy whom she has been meeting through common friends.
Career
Shraddha Kapoor has made her Bollywood debut in 2010 with the film Teen Patti which starred Amitabh Bachchan and R. Madhavan. Her performance was praised by everyone and also was ranked 3rd in Times poll for the Hottest New Face-Female of 2010. In 2011, she was then seen as Rhea in 'Luv Ka The End' playing the role of up-town girl. Later she shot to fame with the flick Aashiqui 2.
Shraddha was awarded "Stardust Searchlight" Award For the Best Actress in 2012. She appeared in a guest appearance for the romantic comedy Gori Tere Pyaar Mein. Kapoor next reunited with Suri for the thriller Ek Villain (2014), for which she also sang the song "Galliyan". In 2014, her second release was Vishal Bhardwaj's critically acclaimed drama Haider. She played the Ophelia character, a journalist named Arshia, opposite Shahid Kapoor.
